Thinking about what I liked and how what I liked could be put to use. Fashion had always being on my mind, design, fashion, dressing nice… All of it! And It was time, time to create something, something for me that would last, something I could be seen as, remembered as. But what was it, was it a clothing line, was it going to school for fashion and actually become a designer, was it drawing things, what? And here was I, on m y bed, still thinking but not finding…

A few months after making my first bowtie, it was time to do a little more. A few friends of mine where taking some amazing pictures and I thought: “Why not merging my sewing with photography?”. I bought a Nikon D3200, which is a good camera for the buck and that I use more than my sewing machine right now. I felt in love with photography and now I have to make sure I fall back in love with sewing.

Sewing, Designing, and Photography are what made this website possible. Without them, The Secret Gentleman would have never came to life. Three years later, the website is here, still a work in progress of course, and thanks to the help of an amazing team*** I know today everything is possible.

I started where everyone my age starts. I grabbed my computer and I started researching. Google helped a lot if you ask me. I typed the words ‘design and fashion’. I was amazed by the results. The image of a sewing machine popped up. Interesting I thought. I went on YouTube, researching everything on how to sew and what sewing machine I should buy to start this adventure of mine through fashion with no knowledge of it. the next morning, I found myself buying a cheap sewing machine on amazon, bought some fabric and practice started. It took a while to get the hang of it and even until this day I am still an amateur having a lot to learn.
